About this Material
Polycarbonate is the toughest transparent plastic available. It's virtually unbreakable under normal conditions, making it the safety glazing material of choice for schools, sporting facilities, and industrial environments.
Where safety and impact resistance are critical, polycarbonate is the answer. It's used in riot shields, bulletproof glass laminates, and machine guards. Unlike acrylic, polycarbonate bends without cracking, making it useful for curved applications. UV-stabilised grades available for outdoor use.
